Zack R. Colbert MSG (USA Retired)
Zack served 20 years in the US Army. He has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and in support of other JSOC missions. Zack was diagnosed with TBI and PTSD in 2017 while participating in the in-patient NICoE (National Intrepid Center of Excellence) program at Walter Reed Medical Center. He served in the same unit with Dan for 10 years. Zack’s goal with the foundation is to make sure that Soldiers and Veterans have a support structure of peers who understand the multitude of issues that come with combat related injuries. Just like when you are enlisted, every Vet. should have a place to go, a person to call, and a squad they can trust.
Jason has been Dan’s friend since their Sophomore year in high school. He swears that their was a time that the ‘72 was up and running. He is the idea man behind Lovell’s Lemons. Dan and Jason always talked about doing 24 Hours of Lemons one day. They worked on cars together and created general automotive mayhem and such throughout their teens and twenties. His father served 2 yours in Vietnam. Jason’s goal with the foundation is to give Veterans a team based setting, with a common goal, where they can share experiences and have a good time. He wants to give back in honor of his family and friends who have served this country honorably.
